Terms of participation

Participation is open to students in Nepal who have completed Grade 12, or who will complete it before the national selection exam, and who meet the age criteria set by the International AI Olympiad for the relevant year.

Candidates must be able to travel internationally if selected. Inability to obtain a passport or visa does not create a claim against the organisation.

You are responsible for the accuracy of the details on your profile. Materially false academic or identity information voids your registration and any result obtained.

Selection is decided by the selection committee on the basis of the published criteria. Committee decisions on eligibility, integrity and final team composition are final.

A dispute window is opened after results are released, during which a candidate may request a review of their own result.

Registration for the 2026 cycle is free. Should a fee apply in a future cycle, it will be stated on the registration page before submission.

Dates, criteria and the syllabus are published before registration opens and are not changed mid-cycle except where circumstances outside our control require it. Any change is announced on the News page and by email.
