Privacy policy
What we collect from candidates, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.
What we collect
When you create an account we collect your name, email address and, if you sign in with Google, the basic profile information Google returns.
To register for a selection cycle we additionally collect your date of birth, phone number, address and academic details. These are used solely to confirm eligibility and to contact you about the cycle.
If you sit the selection exam we collect your answers, timing data, webcam snapshots and any proctoring events flagged during the session.
Why we collect it
Eligibility verification, exam administration, and the integrity of the national selection process. We do not sell candidate data and we do not use it for advertising.
Aggregate, non-identifying statistics about participation may be published in our annual report.
Proctoring data
Face and gaze detection runs entirely in your browser. Only flagged events and periodic snapshots are transmitted to the examinations office.
Proctoring data is retained for the duration of the dispute window and then deleted, unless it forms part of an open integrity investigation.
Your rights
You can export everything we hold on your account at any time from the Settings page of your dashboard, and you can delete your account from the same page.
Records relating to a submitted exam are retained for the dispute window even after account deletion, as required by the exam code of conduct.
