The selection committee has confirmed 8 November 2026 as the date of the national selection exam. The exam runs online and is proctored live through each candidate's own webcam.
The exam has two rounds. The objective round is auto-graded and covers machine learning fundamentals, mathematics and programming. The subjective round is graded by a review panel and tests applied reasoning.
A mandatory system check opens on 1 November. Candidates who do not complete the system check will not be admitted to the exam.
